Our friendly group based classes are run on a weekly basis via scheduled pre-booked courses. Training is based on the reward method and each course is designed to be fun, informative and enjoyable for you and your dog.
LDTC Obedience is open to dogs from 3 months of age (subject to your dog’s veterinary vaccination clearances) and upwards with no age limit.
Each session is structured to provide Obedience training at different levels of ability, age and experience from puppies, older beginners, through to more advanced level dogs.
The Club is run by a dedicated team of experienced and knowledgeable volunteer trainers and helpers, many having years of professional, personal and multidisciplinary experience in the canine field.
If you have any particular problems or queries there is always someone on hand willing to offer help and advice.
We support the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme (this link will take you to the Kennel Club's website) (Bronze, Silver & Gold) training, testing and awards - a non competitive scheme initiated by the Kennel Club to promote responsible dog ownership with well trained and well socialized dogs in the domestic environment.
Our classes are always popular and spaces limited, and even more so in the current climate as class sizes will be limited in line with government protocols as we plan our return to training from a year of the Covid19 restrictions.
To discuss your training needs, becoming a member of the Club and the availability of places on one of our Obedience courses please contact our Head of Obedience on 07722 006 461.
